I just can’t help myself! I have had an ongoing love affair with the holiday season my entire life. There is something about the crisp autumn mornings that makes me want to deck the halls. It’s not that I don’t enjoy each holiday as they come, I do! But I must confess…I enjoy November 1st thru January 6th as one big holiday. Confession #2 … I love how one radio station plays nothing but Christmas songs from now until the day after Christmas… and I sing along with every single one of them at the top of my lungs!

In all honesty, Christmas lights and decorations are the only things that get me through the day when its dark at 4:30 pm. I will let you in on a little secret that only close friends and family know about me… I decorate every room in my house in a different color, in different theme,  and no room is left out. Even the bathrooms get a small Christmas tree. Like I said … I can’t help myself!!

To date the most trees I have ever had up at one time is 37. But that was several years ago. And to be fair… Like votes on Election day, every tree counts! Even a 4 inch tree next to the kitchen sink. Last year I decorated my house and Egidio’s House, his house had 11 trees.

This year I get to decorate my farm house! I am so excited I can barely stand it!! I have been planning it in my head for weeks and I can no longer hold off. So, tonight I will start to gather my things. And yes… Pinterest has become my new best friend.
